An Ping Tong Ji tofu pudding has four flavor, such as original, red bean, “pearl” and lemom, you also can mix above 2 flavor in your tofu pudding. Tong Ji followed traditional method and adheres syrup which must be made from sugar cane. "Xiao Li" bloody rice cake




Xiao Li bloody rice cake is located at Gongguan, it is beside the East-South Asia Cinema. Because owner adheres to traditional merhod, so all bloody rice cakes is maked in sale day. The owner takes method of Nian Gao to make bloody rice cakes and steams it three hours. After that, cut it to cube and keeps it warm. Moisten it with especial saurce which made from soy saurce, chilis and other flavors. Then, put some peanut powder and coriander leaves. Finally, the delicious bloody rice cake is appear.

Tai Nan-"Zai Fa Hao" rice dumpling








The history of Zai Fa Hao has already over hundred years. The making of Zai Fa Hao’s rice dumpling is belong to Southern Taiwan’s method. Its especial rice dumplings are maked from abalones, scallops, squids, prawns, egg yolks, chestnuts, pork and prior glutinous rice. To prevent water will not infiltrate into rice dumplings when cook the rice dumplings in the water, so they are packaged by three bamboo leaves. The two outer leaves must take haven’t use, and the inner leaf must take had already cook. Zai Fa Hao’s rice dumpling is famous in Taiwan. Even Japanese could not help eating if they came to Tai Nan.

Du Xiao Yue (度小月)


Du Xiao Yue is the famous Tan Tzai Noodles food stand in Taipei. The story began in1895 with a fisherman with the sumame Hong whose family migrated to Fucheng from China’s Zhangzhou. He made a living catching fish.
The sea is usually very rough between the Tomb-sweeping Festival and Mid-Autumn
Festival each year so this became known as the “Slack Season” because the fishermen couldn’t go to sea. To make a living during the slack season,Hong began selling noodles. His noodles had a unique taste and were quite popular so he eventually began selling them full-time. In the beginning, he carried his noodles on shoulder poles and sold them in the streets, so he named it ”Slack Season Tan Tsai Noodles”.
